Macaroni stew with asado! The number 1 pasta brand in Italy, “Brilla”, offers a winter recipe with a surprising twist:

Ingredients:

 

Preparation method:

  1. Cook the buccini and strain
  2. In a pan place olive oil, onion quarters, and the asado. Fry from all directions until the meat and onions are browned and set the pan aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix the buccini with the jar of sauce, garlic, paprika, salt, pepper and thyme.
  4. In a greased rectangular pan – preferably lined with greased baking paper, place a little of the buccini, place the pieces of meat and onions on the pan, sprinkle chestnuts and pour the meat oil over.
  5. Cover with the rest of the buktini.
  6. Fill with water until covered.
  7. Wrap in baking paper topped with foil.
  8. Bake in the oven at 130 degrees overnight, or for about 7 hours.

 

A well-known Jewish recommendation is to leave the broth for the night in the oven or on a special hotplate for Shabbat, get up in the morning for the heat and aromas from the boiling pot
